Travel Bohol part 5: Vest Pension House - Tagbilaran City

We stayed at Vest Pension house for a night before heading back to Manila. It is located at Tamblot extension at Tagbilaran town proper, the capital of Bohol. We decided to splurge a bit so instead of getting one big room for 5, we decided to book two seperate rooms.

My husband and I got the Deluxe room which is only PHP1,200 (still not considered splurging-- just too affordable). It includes breakfast.

My hotel review for this Bohol pension house....
The room is spacious,  has it's own T&B, study table and chair, enough closet space and TV with cable. The over all look of the place is more of a Filipiniana style with small touches of modern amenities such as wifi, good air-conditioning, and modern T&B. But, just like any typical Filipiniana houses, the floor is made of hard wood panels, which brings the downside of the room --- you can clearly hear the squeaking of floors when people walk around on the room above yours. For the paranoid people out there however, it will be a plus since you can hear if somebody's approaching your room. ^_^

The bed is not as soft as Cebu R's as well since it's only a foam placed on top of a wood frame as you can see in the picture below so don't expect too much. I took a picture right after it's been slept in so pardon the messy bed. But believe me, it's still a good deal if you're only paying PHP1,200 per night and over all, it really looks much nicer than the pictures below.

Overall, it's clean, quiet, the staff are friendly and helpful, air condition works nicely and really affordable so I'd still say it was a good deal for us. It's still a good hotel to recommend to budget travelers like us. ^_^
